This clip upgrades 2015 model Vantage CT seats from the old eyelet post / hook system to the new snap-clip webbing system released in 2016, sometimes referred to as the Hobie Vantage CT Seat Clip v2.

The original 2015 eyelet post / hook-style clip was superseded by the upgrade kit.

You may need this kit if:

• You own a 2015 Hobie kayak with the early Vantage CT seat
• You want the later-style snap-clip seat attachment released in 2016
• Your original seat retaining clip or hook system is worn, damaged or missing

Compatible kayaks

This kit is primarily for 2015 model Hobie Mirage kayaks fitted with the original Vantage CT seat system.

Compatible models include the 2015 versions of Hobie kayaks that used the standard Vantage CT seat, including:
